Abraham Tested
22 Some time later God tested(A) Abraham. He said to him, “Abraham!”
“Here I am,”(B) he replied.
Genesis 22:2

2 Then God said, “Take your son(A), your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah.(B) Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering(C) on a mountain I will show you.(D)”

Exodus 15:23-25

23 When they came to Marah, they could not drink its water because it was bitter. (That is why the place is called Marah.[a](A)) 24 So the people grumbled(B) against Moses, saying, “What are we to drink?”(C)
